No excuses - When they were introduced I bought two immediately - I wanted to build both with very few if any Meccano nuts & bolts so M3 Countesunk slotted head screws & nuts were used instead on all surfaces;. I mke no excuse for insulting the Meccano Spitfire set which looks more like a Messaescmit Gustav.
