Lesley, Another way is to look at similar items on Ebay but only in the completed sold section. Search for Meccano Set 1.if there are set 2's & 3's shown, then deduct some value as yours is a smaller set 1. Condition is very important. |

A good idea of any Meccano set's value can be gained by listing it in an on-line auction. Condition of the parts is all-important, as well-used common parts are cheaply available. A non-Meccano or home-made box will usually add little to the price people are willing to pay, particularly if it's heavy and you are expecting the buyer to pay for shipping. |
