1962 8a Outfit
This outfit is unused. It is an early example of an accessory outfit that uses a plastic molded tray to hold the parts rather than having the parts strung on card. It also marks the point at which boilers were dropped from the #8 and #9 outfits which meant that the "boiler without ends" was dropped from the 8a allowing it to be "flat packed". The next picture shows the contents in more detail.
