20-underneath the dot is.......
Well, look what is underneath...a "B" printed on an A set label in 1954! What could have happened? This is a regulation gears A set dated 1954 but what of this label....I suspect, maybe, they may have intended to upgrade to the gears "B" set as early as 1954 along with the great many other changes in sets, presentation and parts that were going on at this time in 1953/54. It may have all been too much though as they did not go ahead with it and had a few labels left over from the abortive attempt and not wanting to waste them, they come up with the A sticker dot. This treatment is seen later with old A labels in the B gears set era in 1956( more later on that). I believe this to be an authentic mint set from 1954.
