Unfortunately the date label on the inside of the lid of this outfit is missing but it is probably from mid 1927. The changes during this year are amazing and the sequence of #5 outfits in this gallery bears this out. At the beginning of the year outfits were still light red and green with nickel strips and girders. Nearly all bosses were single tapped. By the end of the year nearly all parts were dark red and green and nearly all bosses double tapped. In addition several parts had been altered quite considerably.
