Mechanism of the Rhug Derrick Crane 1
The lever near the top disconnects the luffing drum when a load is being lifted. Otherwise, as the jib is luffed, the load is lowered enough to keep it at nearly consant height. The same mechanism is used on SM 36, Electric Derrick Crane.
