Imperial Length measures Cheat Sheet

Hence 1260 twips = 1 finger, and there's 1920 nails to a skein (which, in turn, is 1/120th of a spindle). Single factors between units below: 7/8, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50, 63, 96, 100, 120, 1760 & 6080. Coherently logical, apparently intuitive and entirely self-explanatory. Now: "dam" ("decametres" for 10 m) or "hm" ("hectometres" for 100 m) is correct in theory, but not used practically amongst us heavily Metricated patients.
