ESM 18 Revolving Floating Crane
This is my biggest model in volume and weight. I used two ISOREL ™ plates for the barge whose perforations are identical to MECCANO parts. Gyration system of the cabin was my main problem because axis is highly stressed. The use of a wheel bearing platform would have been more judicious ... The tire spider can be used for lighter cranes. Everything else works perfectly (pulley gear lifting and conventional winching). The model is a 1952's HERCULES crane used mainly on barges. A more modern model is still used. I also built MECCANO plates in aluminum and steel for the cabin and its support.
