Once the control cabin and other odds and sods had been finished, I looked at the number of strips left and then finished off the bracing on the jib - the model plan looks distinctly under-done to me. I suspect this was more to save nuts and bolts than the strips. I've kept a rough count and have ended up using around 100 more than a set 9 nominally includes.
