38-#308-core or pole piece
These are nickel plated and form the pole or attaching piece when used in a coil. They are standard meccano rod diameter and use 5/32 whit. thread on each end. 44.95mm (1.7695") long overall. The threading on each end is different lengths. One is 8mm (0.3145") and the other is longer at 18.4mm (0.7235"). They are provided with 2 standard meccano nuts that are nickel plated.
