Ford Anglia

The first car I ever owned was a Ford Anglia 105E. It was known as "The Lemon" on account of its yellow colour. The rust took it long ago but here it is recreated in Meccano.

Very Nice job Nigel - Any more Pics and gen on the model?
I bought 3 Ford Model Y's (2 x 1935 and 1 x 1933) All 2 doors, for a total of 75 quid in 1961, a week after I came out of the RAF.
In about 4 months I had built one from the three and got it legally approved for use so I took my Civvy test in it and passed. The examinar was impressed by my fitting Girling Rod Brakes instead of the usual Armstrong Rubbish as he had to brace himself with his arms on the dashboard for the emergency stop :-)
I have been tempted to make a Model Y with Meccano
