Photograph taken in 2007, just after I'd finally solved the problem of achieving a visibly open and reliable spiral drive up the centre of the rotating circular ramp at left, a problem which had troubled me, and it, for three years! The successful outcome was written up in CQ78 for December 2007.

Alan's static circular ramp, made up of large numbers of Channel Segments, has been turned into a rotating module here. His tumbler and horizontal transporting module above it are seen in the centre, with Konkoly elevator at right.
