54 Sector plates (and not)
A recent flea market collection of mostly post war medium red and green included Some Sector Plates; Left, one of a pair of Light red MMIE. Next one of six Medium red (though some went pink when washed (soaked) in fairy liquid - they were a bit dirty, just age and a dusty wooden box. The middle one I do not recognize though hole spacing and size match up with Meccano, it's a smaller arc of the pie, and the flanges have round holes rather than slots, and angled corners, next a rather tatty early Nickel, barely visible markings RD 577207 D.R.G.M. 455056, PAT. U.S.A. NOV. 18TH 1913, though I can't see any sign of it saying Meccano above that, and another which I think is black with just 577207 D.R.G.M. 455056 RD, though it could just be bald. By the way, there is a difference, not noted in OPM, in the shape of the end of the flange at the wide end of the sector. On the Red ones, and on the Nickel one, it is bulbous, whereas on the black one, it is straight as it is on all at the sharp end. The photo just about catches this on the light red and black at the edges of the picture.
