48e-Aluminium-Silver mock-zinc & zinc in 7200 Evolution tow truck
I have a pair of :- 7200, Evolution tow truck, (Depanneuse), 2013, Spanner dated 7JUN13RT, Box 21/11/2013 of 2945 (c) 06/2013, France, Manual 867200 104111 Evolution tow truck, (c) 07/2013 - bought together, spanner and boxes carrying the same date One of them has zinc plated both 48e, the other has painted Aluminium-silver both 48e So is it a sign that Meccano have recognised the problem of zinc corroding (from the inside out, I think poor preparatory cleaning)? 8200, Evolution crane truck - Camion Grue, 2013, Spanner 7JUN13RT, Box 868200 dated 21/11/2013 of 2949, (c) 06/2013, France, Manual 868200 104111, Evolution crane truck, (c) 07/2013 from the same source and the same parcel has its 161 Girder Bracket 2" x 1" x ½" in this same Aluminium-mock zinc finish [with zinc 48e]
