Constantinesco Torque Converter test
The protruding rod is triangular and it's the pivot of a pendulum located at the back of the plates. The input is the pin in the excentric that acts as a crank handle. The output is a pulley in the ratchet gear axle. By braking the output pulley one can see the virtual fulcrum of the 5 hole lever move along it so efectively changing the travel the pawls do for a turn of the handle.
