I told the meccanomen at the time, in an email to Spanner, about this find and proceeded over the next while to sell off most of it at what now looks like giveaway prices! Some enthusiests were buying it by the brick! I held back quite a bit and used it over the years in my set restorations as hanks and even using it to restring sets!The original email to the SpannerI list was dated 15 Oct 1999. It went like hotcakes!
