I add this here as a possiblity. It appears to be a lite blue version of a very modern form of the hank. This set is a mint late nickel period set in Toronto( I couldn't buy it!) and the pics are what the owner sent me. He says it is mint and original. Literature is dated Oct 1926. Click on the picture and have a close look at the hanks. They are lite blue but rather in the style and form of the later 1930's hanks in blue(H5) and not like the earlier ones (H3's or even the H1's). I think there may have been a hank like this for the early to mid 1920's( end of nickel period) but I don't have an example...anyone? The set appears to have been added to( rubber tires, etc) but I only see these hanks and they are probably from the original #7 set pictured.
