Thanks for your reply. I think I'll extend my project to cover the full period of WWI from the manuals available. There were a fair few more "teams" culling than that as well. |

I believe the manual was actually available before 1916 but It was always listed as a supplement to the #14 manual of 1914. Similarly the 1916 manuals had a number of issues and were still current in 1917. Probably wartime restrictions. The French, English and Germans at this time were culling the population of potential Meccano boys. |

Just been looking through the 1914 manuals for suitable models to mark 100 years since the start of WWI. The 1914 French Supplementary Manual 14S cover states copyright 1916. So is this manual a 1916 manual??? |
