81-Type8-1970-77?-final version
1970 saw the final version of the venerable gears set emerge. It is still the same sized sleeve box over a styrofoam tray. Note dark blue in keeping with the set changes of 1970. The 1st main set boxes were black and then dark blue. I have not seen a black version of the gears set sleeve......are there any? This would mean a version addition to this era.
