The outside of the lid of this outfit is identical to that of the November outfit with the models in the colours of the previous year and no mention of "The New Meccano". However the inside of the lid still retains the earlier illustration of three boys with nickel models. This has disappeared by November. The following pictures illustrate the November 1927 #5 outfit to which I have been referring.
