Graham Jost's Maypole Braiding Machine
In this machine I have tried to achieve total reliability in long-term running, by amalgating the best aspects of both of the other two braiders I have built - it was completed in time for our Melbourne Meccano Club Annual Exhibition in October 2007.
For the biennial Easter Meccano Convention in Christchurch in New Zealand in 2009, it performed magnificently over all three days of the show. I have to add that Kiwis have such good taste - they voted it top of the pops :)) Details were published in CQ81, September 2008.
