Spanish Meccano and Metaling
Metaling of the 1930's was an unuthorized carbon copy of Meccano made by Novedades Poch. This company made official Meccano from the 1930s to 1970. In 1970 the brand Metaling was reissued after a disagreement with Binns Road. In the middle 1970's hibrid sets labeled Meccano- Metaling were made until 1982. The metaling of 1970 had some original parts as the nylon gears or the DIY plates motor but in general the parts were meccano designs. Spanish meccano never listed the circular plates, the circular strip or the flange ring, so the models that included them were removed from the manuals.
