We both had great difficulty deciphering the illustrations. Alan made a high-resolution scan of the MM pages, which helped a little. But the halftone screen is so coarse and the images so dark that it was almost impossible to figure out certain details like the complex gearbox. Alan’s experience and persistence saved the day!
