At the centre is the crane gearbox with cords. Passing through the picture from the Coupling (centre right) is the combined gearbox linkage; it runs behind the 2½” × 1½” Flanged Plate buried in the crane ’box then another Flanged Plate (left) forming one half of the power steering journals. The clustered gearing, also on the left, is to the Worm for the crane slew drive.
