Märklin Metallbaukasten No. 2 Lokomotive Modified To Run On O Gauge With A Clockwork Uhrwerk Motor
This is a locomotive and tender based on a No. 2 Märklin Baukasten set manual model of the 1920's. I have modified it to run on an O Gauge track using a Märklin clockwork motor. In my model the tender has been separated from the locomotive, in the original instructions it is one unit. I wanted to use the same wheels as in the original model. I have also managed to run the one inch pulley wheels on the track in the locomotive as well as the tender. The locomotive takes one round with the tender and two rounds of the track, without the tender.

Excellent models. Never thought mechano models could be made so realistic. |
