I opened this tin just now and the contents are as good as the ady they were packed in 1945/46.

A significant moment indeed; revealing for the first time those 24 beautifully mint Nuts and Bolts, all fastened together.

Another thought; the air that was also held inside that presumably airtight tin, was circulating around the Binns Road Meccano factory 74 years ago!

Now that's what I call "capturing the atmosphere" of the time!
