Tiny bolts  

They keep falling off the end of the Phillips head screwdriver and you'll never find them on the floor. If you thought grub screws were hard to find, trying locating one of these M1.6 bolts! It takes a bit of practice but once you've mastered this technique it will become second nature.

Thanks for another great tip! For fitting (even non-magnetic) screws in even tighter nooks and crannies one can just apply a little grease or Vaseline to the screwdriver's tip. The smaller the screw the less grease is needed, as its weight becomes much smaller in tiny dimensions. Blu-Tak seems to be yet another favorite, but personally I don't like to get that into gears or bearings.
