From Chris via email... "These are three of the more satisfying models I have built. The model of the Kientz oscillating cylinder steam engine is from a design published by David Whitmore (CQ - Dec 1990). It is a lovely, smooth-running model, great for an exhibition, as it runs all day. The Garratt locomotive was designed by Peter Matthews, and is representative of that type of steam loco. The skip truck is a Tony James model for a No 10 set. It is an excellent design, packed with features in a fairly small model – gearbox, leaf spring suspension, differential, worm and pinion steering, and simulated hydraulics. It looks great, and performed very well over the weekend."
