Hello Charles
Do you have documentation or an article on how you prepared and organized the replating nuts and bolts ?
Perhaps so others don't repeat the pitfalls.

Charles, how much brassware is needed in a batch to make this economical?
Reply: I usually do about 15kg at a time, although you can do a little less. |

Charles - do you get standard brassware replated along with the nuts and bolts?
Reply: Yes Richard, although not in the same batches. You can see the pulleys and gears in that photo although I've poured all the bags out on to the table and so they're mixed. If you try to do nuts and bolts in the same batch they get stuck in the various holes and that leaves imperfections in the plating. Don't forget to take the grub screws out first! |
