This is the 23g wire and is single cotton covered. The reel holds 25 yards. The wood reel is generally green for this part but not always! It can be red enamel, red dyed, purple dyed, black!!!! Again quality of wood reel varies, the color of the insulation on the wire varies and the markings on the ends of the reels varies.
