Meccano Schwebebahn Suspended Railway Wupertal

I made this model of the famous Wuppertal Schwebebahn monorail in December 2013 using only parts that would have been available in a No. 6 set that I was given in 1947. This is powered by a magic motor similar to one also given to me then. You may have seen much more sophisticated models using Märklin parts. I was wondering if I could make a simple model using only the No.6 set parts. I was originally using two sets of wheels per car, but surprisingly found operation with a single wheel is much better with a lesser chance of derailment. If I use only one car it can go round the track twice. Joining the No. 1 12 1/2 inch strips for the track was done by overlapping them, originally I was planning to use the 5 hole strips for joining them but the quantity required was far more than the number in a 6 set.
