Ok, thanks for your fast reply, Carlos.
Meccano is indeed "slow business" here in Sweden too. :)
I've bought "balloon tires" for my 19b 3" pulleys from a Builder's Supply store - Gaskets for sewage pipes:
ID: 71 mm, OD: 100 mm Width: 11,5 mm. Markings does NOT say "Meccano, England", but "GA-SET RING DIN 4050"
I'll check the Metallus page, as per your suggestion. Thanks! //Johan |

Hi, Johan!
Thanks for your kind comment!
I bought this tires from the German firm Metallus (www.metallus.de), which produces replica parts mainly oriented on the Maerklin range (absolutely compatible with Meccano). You can find them on their homepage using the "Einzelteile"-entry, or directly tipping "2600-60" in the search field (titled "Produktsuche"). I live in Austria, and there´s nearly no Meccano-Scene here, so that I get parts from Metallus, from "Meccanoman" (http://meccanoman.co.uk) and from "Meccanoshop" (http://www.meccanoshop.co.uk/). A very good selection of literature and other media can be found at "MWMO" (http://www.hsomerville.com/mwmailorder/). |

-What kind of tyres are these? They look just great.
# 142h? Non-Meccano O-rings from your local hardware store/ ironmongers? Original tyres are hard do come by here, and they tend to "not age with dignity" - becoming hard, brittle and cracked... Nice build, BTW! .-) |
